Use of the bandage and cap: You will be given a hat and a bandage after the primary care that will be used as follows:
Bandage: It will be used after primary care for 3 days. If you have someone who can help you can remove it, otherwise it is recommended to put it on your neck before you sleep to avoid damage and injury, the next day in the morning you can put it on your temples again. You can remove it on day 4 just before 1st wash.
The bandage is used to prevent inflammation from going down to the facial part. In case of misuse of it or wrong posture during sleep, inflammation of the head and face is possible, which is not to be alarmed since it is due to isotonic sodium chloride injected lowering and causing inflammation. This inflammation will last in one or two days. You can pull and leave the backside of bandage to prevent it stick onto donor area once in an hour while wearing it.
Hat: It will be used to avoid direct contact with the sun or rain. Please don’t let any part of hat touch on the grafts.

How to take care after hair transplant:
The implanted grafts should not touch to the bed or the pillow so that the follicles are not damaged after the hair transplant while sleeping, so it is recommended to use a small pillow in the neck area that does not allow the movement of the head. You have to sleep on your back supporting the donor area.
It is not recommended to lay face down and rest over your face for two weeks due to the risk of swelling and touching.
It is also preferable to wear a button up shirt, cardigans or zip sweaters this will make it easier to put on after the transplant. Please do not wear a t-shirt or other type of shirt you have to pull over your head for 2 weeks.
You should not wear narrow clothing such as T-shirts, throat sweaters, athletes, etc. not to damage the recipient area.
You should not wear woolen hat at least 2 months because the grafts can be stuck onto woolen hat and can be removed.
You should not let anything touch to the recipient area for 2 weeks, each contact can damage the grafts and may cause the loss of some grafts.
You must not sweat for at least 20 days.
You should not drink alcohol after surgery for 10 days.
Smoking is not allowed on the day of surgery and it is also recommended not to smoke for 10 days after surgery.
Sexual intercourse is not recommended for 1 week after surgery.
Also green tea, normal tea, coffee, carbonated drinks such as coke are not recommended to consume for 1 week.
Sports and activities:
Hamam, sauna are not recommended for 3 weeks.
You can swim after 1 month either in pool or in the sea. But implanted area should always be protected against sun lights by wearing hat at least 6 months when you go to swim in the beach.
Solarium is not recommended for 2 months. You need to protect your head with a cap when you go to solarium for 6 months.
The area where hair is implanted should be protected from strong direct sunlight for 3 months. This type of activity can damage the transplanted grafts and increase the risk of infection.
It is not recommended to enter very hot and very cold environments, to take shower with warm water instead of hot or cold water for at least 2 weeks.
You can swim in the pool or sea using a swimming cap after 20 days.
You can start to make jogging or riding bicycle after 1 month. You can start doing sport such as jogging or riding bicycle. You can start to go fitness and lift light weights and increase it monthly.
Any type of physical contact sports are not recommended for 45 days.
When to cut the hair:
You can start to have your hair cut with scissors after 15 days, with clipper after 2 months and you can start have other services such as painting, cosmetic after 3 months.
The beard can be shaved off by machine after 15 days and by razor after 45 days. (This is eligible for the patients who had beard transplantation or whose grafts are extracted from beard lower side of chin).
Fall of scabs:
The crusts will start to fall down approximately 13 days after surgery. (On the 10th wash day)
If the crusts do not fall naturally, you can do a gentle massage with your fingers by using the panthenol for 45-60 minutes and then by rinsing with shampoo. (Detailed explanation is written below)
Hair loss after hair transplant (Shock Loss):
The hair in the recipient area start to fall off approximately 10 days after washing begins. When you see this, you do not need to panic or think that your hair transplant does not work, because the follicles will not fall. This is a natural process. A large majority of the hair will fall off in two months after the operation. From the third and fourth month onwards, it will grow back naturally and the final result will be 100% in a period of 12 to 18 months.
Follow-up after hair transplant:
You must send us photos to follow up on your progress every day until the crusts fall down and then once in every month otherwise your guarantee certificate would be invalid.

Use of medicines (You can only use arveles on the operation day if you feel pain):
Antibiotic (Ciprasid): You need start taking this the day after surgery, 1 piece every 12 hours, 1 in the morning and 1 in the evening after meal.
Anti-inflammatory (Prednol): You will start using this medication the day after surgery 2 pieces every noon full stomach for 4 days.
Pain killer (Arveles): If you feel pain, you can use 1 pill on a full stomach starting from operation day. You can take 2nd one minimum 1 hour after using the first one.
Coraspirin (100 mg): You need start taking this the day after surgery, 1 in the morning and 1 in the evening after meal.
Day 1: The surgery.
Day 2: Primary Care.
Day 3: The recipient and donor area are not going to be washed.
Day 4: You need to start to use the bepanthol cream and shampoo according to instructions.
How to wash with HAIR CARE LOTION (Starting from Day-4) : You should start washing your head by Bepanthol Cream on day 4 when the surgery day is counted day 1. You need to wash your head everyday one time until the crusts fall down. You need put bepanthol cream for both donor and recipient area for minimum 45 minutes. We recommend to wash by pouring a glass of warm (not hot not cold) water.
How to wash with Shampoo (Starting from Day-4) : You can put shampoo on the grafts gently and carefully after lathering it in your palm. You can rinse your head immediately after applying the shampoo to the recipient area.
PLEASE USE PRE-BOILED WARM WATER FOR ALL WASHINGS FOR STERILISATION !
You need to continue making soft finger massage even after crusts fall down as long as possible. On the other hand you don’t need to be afraid or hesitate:
To touch the recipient area starting from Day 4 and
To start massaging on 13th day after the operation.
VITAMINS (60 PIECES CAPSULE): You need to take 1 capsule after meal per day. You need to start using this vitamins 10 days after operation when the pills finish.
SHAMPOO: We recommend to wash your hair 1 day with shampoo 1 day with only water. It is important to clarify that all these products will be used massaging slowly and delicately so as not to damage the transplant.
